Is the pocket DOCK compatible with the RP2 (non-plus model)?

Yes. The RP2 & RP2+ are identical in design, so the docking station is compatible with both models.

 

The HDMI cable I have doesn't fit within the pocket DOCK cartridge and the RP2+ did not come with one. Where do I find a compatible HDMI cable?

You have 2 options:

#1, you can order the official Type-D Micro HDMI cable directly from the Retroid site. This is the same cable that comes with the RP2 (non-plus model), which the cable routing on the pocket DOCK was designed to accommodate. Keep in mind, this may not be the fastest option.

#2, you can order a similar Type-D Micro HDMI cable from Amazon with 6ft & 10ft cable length options. This cable has been tested with the pocket DOCK and fits tightly within the cartridge. Note: the male Micro HDMI plug on this cable is 0.43mm thicker than the one offered by Retroid, but will still fit within the dock.

 

Can I purchase a pocket DOCK with multiple color combinations? 

Absolutely, please email orderpocketdock@gmail.com with special requests for color combinations, special colors, custom "engraved" docks and/or cartridges, textured design options, and more. Note: pricing & lead time may vary depending on intricacy of design/3d print work.

 

Can I use my own USB-C charging cable? I need the extra length?

Yes. Most off-the-shelf USB-C cables are compatible with the pocket DOCK cartridge. For a guaranteed fit, we recommend using the charging cable provided by Retroid.

 

Do the pocket DOCK buttons actually work?

Yes. They are designed to fit within the cartridge system and function independently to trigger the Volume Up/Down & Power buttons on the RP2 & RP2+ devices. Once the buttons are placed into the cartridge and screwed into place, they will move freely without falling out of place.

 

Is there a warranty on my pocket DOCK?

We do not offer warranties on any of our products. If you are experiencing unusual wear & tear issues, please email us a brief description & pictures of the issue(s) at orderpocketdock@gmail.com as replacement options may be available to you at our own discretion.

 

Can I return my pocket DOCK?

We currently do not accept returns on any of our products. If you are not happy with one of our products, please email us at orderpocketdock@gmail.com to see what options may be available to you.

If I order the pocket DOCK in bulk, will I receive a discount?

Yes. For unique orders of 5-10 pocket DOCKs, we offer a 15% discount on the order total. For unique orders of 11 or more pocket DOCKS, we offer a 20% discount on the order total.

My pocket DOCK was damaged in the mail, will I receive a replacement for it?

We're very sorry to hear that... Please email us at orderpocketdock@gmail.com with pictures of the damaged product & packaging. Upon review, we may issue a replacement.

Will the Slim Case scratch my device/screen?

Each slim case comes with an anti-scratch foam liner. Your device's shell & screen should be well protected with this case.

Is the Slim Case still pocketable?

Absolutely. The case is only a few mm thicker than the actual RP3 device.

Is the Slim Case compatible with the RP3+?

Yes, the RP3 & RP3+ devices have the same exact shell (different internals). The Slim Case fits both devices great.
